Desktop App Solution to Access Obsolete Flash-based App

We were given the task of providing access to a buggy Flash-based web application and improving the UI/UX for Odyssey DCS, a Department of Defense (DoD) commerce solution provider

It is widely known that Adobe Systems will officially discontinue Flash Player on December 31, 2020, and that the software will no longer be supported on all major browsers.

The client’s original Flash-based app stopped working properly on Chrome and Firefox (Mozilla discontinued the use of Adobe Flash in its browser in early 2019, with Google Chrome following suit in July 2019). Part of our solution involved Electron, which helped to resolve the access issue both from the side of the client as well as that of their own clients.
